Portland State University Foundation Converts to Agilon
Cedar Rapids, IA - May 23, 2006 - Agilon announces today that it has successfully completed
implementation of their leading edge fund accounting and investment management system at
Portland State University Foundation (PSUF) in Portland Oregon. The fund accounting system was
developed in partnership with Agresso and is fully integrated with Agilon's "Agilon's fundraising solution is designed with leading edge technologies to give our customers a highly secure, full-featured solution that is flexible and scalable to meet the needs of dynamic organizations." said David Best, CEO of Agilon. "Our partnership with Agresso enables us to deliver a world-class business financial system as an integral component of our product line." Philip Varnum, Chief Financial Officer for the foundation, highlights why they chose Agilon's Business Financials powered by Agresso. "Agilon's Business Financials is our financials solution of choice because of its outstanding ability to be an organization-wide information warehouse that allows for unlimited dimensions of analysis and powerful reporting capabilities to keep pace with ongoing change. Process and organizational change can be undertaken far more rapidly with Agilon's Business Financials and at a much lower cost because, with Agilon's Business Financials, it does not require complete re-implementation." The architecture of Agilon's Business Financials powered by Agresso has been designed specifically to meet the needs of ‘people-centric' organizations in terms of its post-implementation agility. Years after implementation of Agilon's Business Financials, when requirements change, the solution can adapt to the new requirements without re-implementation. Agilon's Business Financials provides the ability to analyze expenditures beyond the confines of a standard accounting package, which has made it the choice of complex, sophisticated organizations working within rigidly controlled budgets. "The implementation of Agilon's Business Financials powered by Agresso went very smoothly as the module had a seamless fit with the needs of PSUF." said Coleen Peterson, Agilon's Project Manager for the PSUF implementation. "Agilon's Business Financials is very straightforward to configure to accommodate the client's account structures and reporting requirements."
